Good Morning and Happy Wednesday,

Today is hump day and the weekend is fast approaching and hopefully you will have time away from work to enjoy time with family and friends. This week I am going to dive in to the middle of what I feel is a conspiracy created by people who have something to sell. Could the conspirators be flight schools selling their training program, regional airlines looking for cheap labor, or is it people on the web looking to sell resume services, interview prep courses, or other such commodities?

How could there possibly be a conspiracy, is what you may be thinking, but trust me when I say that there is no looming pilot shortage. I have been in aviation for thirty years and about every five years or so this topic comes to the forefront. So, in the coming weeks I am going to try and dissect this subject and see if I can put the real facts, as I see them, on the table.
