Importance To The US Of Latin American Civil Air Transport – August 17, 2012

“Robert Novell’s Third Dimension Blog”

Good Morning and Happy Friday—For the last two weeks we have been talking about Latin American Aviation and more specifically Colombia; in addition, we have also talked about the politics of international aviation with Pan Am being the chosen air carrier for the U.S. Government and how they changed the complexion of aviation to our south as well as in the rest of the world.

Today we will talk again about how Central and South America have always been an important part of the development of the US, and Europe, and this point can best best be demonstrated by recognizing that most of the Central American, and South American, Airlines today are are now aligned with the large air carriers of the world as their economies continue to grow at a rate that is the envy of Europe and the US.

This week I want you to review a CIA document that shows how imporatant the U.S. considered our allies, to the south, as they prepared for a possible conflict with Russia after WWII, and then do a little research on how these airlines, countries, will play an important role in our/your future. I think you may be surprised at what you find especially when you consider that we, in the U.S., have as much migration out of the country, by US citizens, than migration into our country from Central and South America; however, Mexico is an exception to this statement but please remember that Mexico is part of North America.

Enjoy the day, have a good weekend, and enjoy time with family and friends.
